The aim of 'Differential Proteomics' projects is the identification and characterization of
differentially expressed proteins, which may represent potential 'drug targets' or initial
biomarkers for the development of new therapeutic and diagnostic agents. Such differentially
expressed proteins are also invaluable for the development of new biotechnological methods.
Differential Proteome Analysis by 2DE
Four samples of each sample group (control vs. diseased samples) were separated by extreme high resolution 2D electrophoresis and statistically analyzed by 2DE image analysis software. A false color overlay 2DE image is shown.
